Two wineries will turn into art markets each Saturday in August.

Finger Lakes artisans will exhibit and sell works including mixed media paintings, regional photography, pottery and textiles from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the 2013 ARTe Wine Trail Art Markets. Tents will be set up at Bellwether Hard Cider and Bellwether Wine Cellars on Cayuga Lake and at Sheldrake Point Winery’s Seneca Lake tasting room.

Allison DeDominick of ARTe Finger Lakes Art Coordination is organizing the markets, after organizing similar ones in Ithaca this year. Ithaca and the Finger Lakes “have an abundance of artists, and I figured that starting these markets would help to promote them to a different audience,” she said.

The NY Hot Box food truck will be at Bellwether each day; other food trucks, starting with Global Taco, will be at Sheldrake Point, DeDominick said. Bellwether and Sheldrake Point will sell beverages.

Bellwether is at 9070 Route 89, Trumansburg, Tompkins County. Sheldrake Point on Seneca is at 5930 State Route 414, Hector, Schuyler County.
