1. William Warfield: A Legacy in Music, an annual concert supporting William Warfield Scholarship Fund at the Eastman School of Music, begins at 4 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 13) in Kilbourn Hall. This year’s recipient is soprano Joel Callonia Dyson, a junior and native of New Orleans. Also performing will be the Hochstein Little Singers, singer and dancer Thomas Warfield and the Drumcliffe Dance Project. Tickets are $15 ($10 for students). Call (585) 454-2100.

2. The Tony Award-winning musical Next to Normal continues through Feb. 10 at Geva Theatre Center. Shows this week begin at 8 p.m. Friday; 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday; and 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday. Tickets start at $25. Call (585) 232-4382.

3. Jazz trumpeter Chris Botti and his band will play with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, led by Jeff Tyzik, at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday (Jan. 11 and 12) in Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre. 6. Anderson Alley Artists, a community of artists with studios on the second, third, and fourth floors of the Anderson Arts Building, are hosting a free Studio Open House from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 12).

7. Blues-folk guitarist Wendell Ferguson will entertain the audience with his amusing between-song commentary and cool tunes starting at 8 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 12) at the Greece Baptist Church. Tickets are $20 ($17 advance). Call (585) 328-3103.

8. 9. The classic courtroom drama 12 Angry Men opened Thursday at the Multi-use Community Cultural Center.
