Louisiana’s The Dirty Bourbon River Show a rootsy collection of folk, rock, blues, jazz, Latin, gypsy, circus and traditional New Orleans music plays an 8 p.m. show at Abilene Bar & Lounge, 153 Liberty Pole Way. It’s a benefit for the Catholic Family Center’s food collection for the needy, and there are two ways to get in: either $50, or all of the canned goods that you can spare.
Sorry, Wrong Number (1948, 89 mins.) is the story of a bedridden woman who overhears what she thinks is a plot to murder her.
