Stop and smell the roses at the Maplewood Rose Garden during the Maplewood Rose Celebration from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The free event the garden’s thousands of roses and entertainment, arts and crafts displays, food, lower gorge tours and children’s activities. Go to maplewood.org/rose-festival.
Dozens of craft beers, along with food, ciders and more, are on tap during the Rochester Real Beer Expo from 6 to 10 p.m. (5 p.m. for VIP ticket-holders) on Gregory Street in the South Wedge. Tickets ($45; $65 for VIP/early admission) are available at rochesterrealbeer.com.
The Juneteenth Historical Commemoration celebrates June 19, 1865 (two years after the Emancipation Proclamation), the day that Union soldiers landed at Galveston, Texas, with news that the war was over and that slaves were free. A parade starts at 11 a.m., and the event runs from 12:30 to 8 p.m. at Susan B. Anthony Square, King and Madison streets. Admission is free.
Three things to do tomorrrow

Feast your eyes on cool cars during Father’s Day Car and Motorcycle Cruise from noon to 4 p.m. at Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion State Historic Park in Canandaigua.
