4 Just in time for Halloween is Polite Inc. Sketch and Improv’s “All Hallows’ Eve.” The show is filled with spooky sketches, insanely mad scientists and creepy monsters. 5 Discover the dark, the sinister and the eerie of the 19th-century during Spirits of the Past Tours at the Genesee Country Village & Museum in Mumford. The 75-minute tours run from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday (tours depart about every 10 minutes and are not recommended for ages 11 and younger). Tours will also be held Oct. 24-26. 6 This year’s Grand Torch Light Tour of Mt. Hope Cemetery is being held Saturday and Tuesday. The guided walking tours along candlelit paths start at the North Gate House. 7 Alfred Hitchcock’s The 39 Steps opens Tuesday for a month-long run at the Geva Theatre Center.
