Thanksgiving Weekends at Old Sturbridge Village

Attraction: Visitors to Old Sturbridge Village, a living history museum in Sturbridge, Mass., can experience the traditions of an early 19th century New England Thanksgiving each weekend from Nov. 2 to Dec.1. Events run from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Admission to the museum is $24 ($22 for seniors; $8 for ages 3 to 17; and free to ages 2 and younger.)

Upcoming are the Christmas by Candlelight Tours, which run from 4 to 9 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, Dec. 2-25. It offers an enchanted evening of gingerbread, roasted chestnuts, music, sleigh rides (weather permitting) and a chance to meet Father Christmas.

Directions: Take Interstate 90 east into Massachusetts to Exit 9. From Exit 9, take the first right, onto Route 20 west. Old Sturbridge Village is about one mile on the left.
