1 Charles Dicken’s classic A Christmas Carol will help get you into the holiday spirit with shows through Dec. 28 at Geva Theatre Center. Guy Paul reprises his role as Ebenezer Scrooge in this stage adaption by Mark Cuddy. The curtain rises at 7:30 p.m. Friday; 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday; and 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday. Tickets start at $25. 3The Rochester Folk Art Guild’s Holiday Festival of Crafts features pottery, wooden furniture and turnings, weaving, toys, hand-blown glass Christmas ornaments, rugs and more crafted by guild artisans. 4The Holiday Laser Show features holiday tunes choreographed to laser light set against the starry background at Rochester Museum & Science Center’s Strasenburgh Planetarium. 5Garth Fagan Dance begins its 43rd season Tuesday at the Nazareth College Arts Center in Pittsford. 8 Drive through or park your car and walk to view the Holiday Spectacle of Lights set up through Dec. 23 at Camp Eastman in Irondequoit.
