Television Without Pity has launched its annual film awards./

Television Without Pity is best known for its long, snarky recaps of TV shows, but occasionally the site gets into the movie business. The site has just launched its third annual Movies Without Pity Awards, which ask users to vote in categories the Oscars wouldn’t touch.

New categories are unveiled each week, and this week they include nuggets like the “Best Movie More People Should Have Seen,” which deserves to go to Bernie without question.

Other categories include the “Actor We’re Most Tired of Seeing,” where I think it might be a battle between Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who each appeared in four movies last year.

That’s My Boy, Dark Shadows and The Dictator are all nominated for “Worst Comedy” — I saw and hated them all! The list of categories goes on and on, totaling 60 in all.

Voting lasts through Feb. 10. Take a second to at least peruse the nominees, because you just might discover a good (or wonderfully bad) flick you missed.
