Oscar marathons at local theaters

Loews AMC Webster and Cinemark Tinseltown in Gates are showing Oscar marathons of best picture nominees Saturday and Feb. 23. The Academy Awards presentation is on Feb. 24.

This Saturday at Tinseltown will be Beasts of the Southern Wild at noon, Amour at 1:55 p.m., Life of Pi at 4:15 p.m., Les Miserables at 6:35 p.m. and Lincoln at 9:30 p.m. Next Saturday will be Argo at 1 p.m., Silver Linings Playbook at 3:20 p.m., Zero Dark Thirty at 5:30 p.m. and Django Unchained at 8:20 p.m. A ticket for one day is $30; a ticket for both days is $50.

This Saturday at Webster will be Amour at 10 a.m., Les Miserables at 12:30 p.m., Argo at 3:30 p.m. and Django Unchained at 6:30 p.m. Next Saturday will be Beasts of the Southern Wild at 10 a.m., Life of Pi at noon, Lincoln at 2:20 p.m., Silver Linings Playbook at 5:05 p.m. and Zero Dark Thirty at 8:10 p.m. After Zero Dark Thirty, the four films from this Saturday will be replayed. At Webster, tickets are $30 for this Saturday; $40 for the first five films next Saturday; $60 for the extended marathon next Saturday. — Staff reports
