Greta Gerwig is the gift that keeps on giving.

I’ve been hailing the actress for years; her fresh and enthusiastic performances are what made me love films like Hannah Takes the Stairs, Nights and Weekends and Lola Versus. (Heck, I even watched Arthur because she was in it!)

Gerwig’s latest flick is Frances Ha, a black-and-white comedy from Noah Baumbach. The combo of Gerwig’s charm and David Bowie’s Modern Love is just too gleeful to resist in this trailer:

What a pick-me-up — Gerwig co-wrote the script with Baumbach. Frances Ha opens in May.
