Dwayne Johnson rocked by 'Evil Dead,' John Cena

After being on a roll of late, two people got the better of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson this weekend: a demonic girl and John Cena.
Johnson’s action movie G.I. Joe: Retaliation tied for second at the box office and was upended by the new horror remake Evil Dead, and the muscular wrestler-turned-actor also lost his WWE championship to Cena at Wrestlemania 29 on Sunday.
In the title match in front of more than 80,000 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., the Rock went for his trademark “Rock Bottom” finishing move, but Cena countered with his own “Attitude Adjustment” for the pin and the win. Both men shook hands after the match and nobody hit the other in the back with a steel chair.
On Monday morning, 11-time champ Cena stopped by Live with Kelly and Michael to chat with Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan, and Johnson tweeted that it was “a helluva show” to Dana White, the president of Ultimate Fighting Championship. “My tequila bottle awaits when I get home.”
Don’t worry too much about Johnson, though he’ll be OK. Fans may not be able to see him hoisting a championship belt with his signature brahma bull logo on USA’s Monday Night Raw, but they can catch Johnson on the big screen later this month in Pain & Gain with Mark Wahlberg, in Fast & Furious 6 in May and in the action drama Empire State later this year, plus hosting the TNT reality show The Hero beginning in June.
