Got some free time and an empty DVR queue? These flicks are now available:

Release o’ the week: Happy People: A Year in the Taiga. I’m eager to see this Werner Herzog doc, which follows the lives of indigenous people living in an extremely remote area of the Siberian Taiga.

- Mr. Selfridge. Jeremy Piven stars in this PBS period piece.

- Promised Land. Gus Van Sant directs Matt Damon and John Krasinski in this fracking-themed pic.

- Wuthering Heights. Why watch another version of the classic? Because this one stars Kaya Scodelario from Skins.

- The Impossible. Naomi Watts was nominated for an Oscar for her performance in this heavy drama.

- Cheech & Chong’s Animated Movie. Yeah, this one is about what you’d expect from the tokin’ duo.

Also out: Gangster Squad, The Central Park Five, The Killing: The Complete Second Season, A Haunted House, Maverick: The Complete Second Season

Blu-ray highlight:Jurassic Park 3-D arrives in the format.

Related news: A Blu-ray version of the excellent documentary The Kid Stays in the Picture comes out June 3.

Next week:Silver Linings Playbook arrives.
