'Silver Linings Playbook' arrives on DVD today./

I’m overloaded with TV right now (Mad Men, Thrones, Rectify, The Americans, on and on), but if you’re craving something more, perhaps one of these will do the trick:

Release o’ the week: Silver Linings Playbook. I resisted this movie for a long time, but I wound up really enjoying it, particularly since all of the actors are so well-cast. (Chris Tucker didn’t get as much ink as Cooper/Lawrence, but he’s great!)

- Not Fade Away. The SopranosDavid Chase wrote and directed this movie about ’60s rock ‘n’ roll. James Gandolfini co-stars.

- The Guilt Trip. What happens when Seth Rogen and Barbra Streisand go on a road trip? Bad reviews, for one thing …

- Funny Girl. Here’s a much better Barbra movie: Grab the digitally restored classic on Blu-ray.

- Walk Away Renee. Jonathan Caouette’s follow-up to his stunning low-budget documentary, Tarnation, tells the story of a cross-country trip he took with his mentally ill mother.

Also out: Broken City, The Details, Little Red Dragon, Only the Young/Tchoupitoulas

Blu-ray highlight: As I mentioned yesterday, two Star Trek: The Next Generation releases, The Third Season and The Best of Both Worlds, are now out in the format.

Related news: Shout! Factory has announced it will be releasing the 1973 cult classic Electra Glide in Blue on Blu-ray June 4.

Next week: The animated Superman: Unbound arrives.
