The filmmakers behind White House Down are celebrating Independence Day by thanking the people who serve the country in the military.
On July 4, active military personal and veterans are invited free to see the action flick starring Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx. And they can bring one guest.
“It’s a great way to celebrate the holiday and to honor and thank the troops for their service to our country,” Rory Bruer, president of Worldwide Distribution for Sony Pictures, said in a release.
The invite is valid in any Regal Entertainment Group, AMC Theatres, Cinemark Theatres, or Carmike Cinemas theater with proper military identification. It is valid only on the 4th of July and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
In White House Down, Tatum plays a Capitol policeman touring the White House when it is overtaken by a heavily armed paramilitary group.
