Juno Temple, left, and Kathryn Hahn in 'Afternoon Delight.' Jim Frohna/

I know I’ve given a lot of ink to Juno Temple this year, but the girl has been everywhere: Her recent film roles include Magic Magic with Michael Cera, Lovelace and indie The Brass Teapot, with parts in bigger flicks like Maleficent and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For on the way.

Tomorrow the 24-year-old actress returns to the big screen in Afternoon Delight, the first feature from writer/director Jill Soloway (Six Feet Under). The sexy comedy follows a thirtysomething woman (Kathryn Hahn) who decides to let a stripper (Temple) move in with her family. The supporting cast includes Jane Lynch, Josh Radnor and Michaela Watkins.

Here’s a trailer:

Now, I’m generally averse to any “stripper with a heart of gold”-type story, but this cast intrigues me, and I’m a longtime fan of Soloway’s writing. Even when she’s not in a great movie (like Year One or Kaboom), Temple’s presence usually makes me feel like I haven’t wasted my time. It’s nice to see Hahn get a leading role as well; you probably recognize her from Parks and Recreation and/or Girls.

Afternoon Delight opens Friday in New York and Los Angeles before expanding nationwide. For more info and a list of theaters, head to its official site.
