Christmas will be a little merrier for Justin Bieber fans who have been salivating for the pop star’s hotly anticipated documentary Believe. It opens Dec. 25.
The film was directed by Jon M. Chu, who also directed the 2011 3-D concert film Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, which grossed nearly $100 million worldwide. Believe serves up Bieber tunes andnew interviews, plus appearances by manager Scooter Braun, Usher, Rodney Jerkins, Ludacris and Mike Posner.
Bieber has been building up to the film’s debut by releasing new songs through iTunes each Monday. The Music Mondays promotion so far has unleashed HeartBreaker and All That Matters. Additional tracks will be unveiled weekly through Dec. 16.
“I am so excited to be involved in this movie, and so happy to be able to give back to my fans, especially during the holiday season,” Bieber said in a statement. “Jon Chu and my team have done a wonderful job creating a special moment for Beliebers worldwide and I can’t wait till Christmas day when the movie will be in theaters everywhere.”
