The only thing more frightful than Halloween itself is not having any plans to celebrate it. Well, fear not: Here are eight options to help you scare up a good time.

Visit Tilt Nightclub & Ultralounge this Halloween for The 98PXY annual Erotic Exotic Ball. Tilt’s drag queens and kings will take the stage, and cash prizes will be awarded for the most erotic and exotic costumes, and the top 10 costumes overall.

Emery’s ‘The Weak’s End’ 10-year anniversary tour
Seattle post-hardcore band Emery celebrates the 10th anniversary of its debut album, The Weak’s End, at the Bug Jar on Halloween night. The Classic Crime, This Wild Life, Camille Thar and Peace Mercutio will also play. A Halloween costume contest is planned after Emery’s set.

Halloween Party at Tapa’s 177
Visit this Spanish-style bar and restaurant for its annual Halloween bash. DJ Flex will set the mood for the night, and a tarot card reader will help you peer into your future. Trick-or-treating won’t be necessary take advantage of free candy at Tapa’s. Prizes will be awarded throughout the night, so wear your best costume.

The Manhattan Project’s Ghosts N Stuff Halloween Tour
Costumes are encouraged at this 18-and-older show featuring Manhattan Project. The electronic duo will play a set of deadmau5 tunes as well as originals. Special guests will include Solaris, Notixx, Papi Chulo, Mic See and Skanntron.

Vamp Night at Skylark
Skylark hosts a night of entertainment featuring drag queen Lady Jane Fairchild, drag king Johnny Boy and burlesque act Evie Delilah. El Destructo will emcee the event, and Scott Free will provide the tunes. Stay for the costume contest; prizes include a paid bar tab and gift certificates to local businesses.

The 39 Steps
This play is part comedy and part mystery. Adapted from the film directed by Alfred Hitchcock, the story follows Englishman Richard Hannay as he encounters murder, espionage and more. Four actors play 150 characters in this production.
