5 The Village of Spenceport celebrates its Erie Canal heritage during Spencerport Canal Days from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. This year’s highlights include a classic car show on Saturday at Pineways Ponds Park; and the Canaligator Race at 4 p.m. Sunday where about 1,000 little plastic alligators will be launched off the Union Street bridge into the Erie Canal.
